Pediatric transport

Pediatric rides, made gentler.

Age-appropriate restraints, family seating, and crews who know how to work with pediatric patients + their caregivers.

How it works

What this service includes.

Pediatric transport runs on the same operating system as the rest of our fleet, with a service tier built around the unique needs of younger patients. Booster + infant restraints are stocked in every pediatric-tagged vehicle. Caregiver seating is standard. Crews are trained on communication with kids of different ages — and on staying out of the way when the family wants quiet.

Service detail

Everything bundled in.

  • Age-appropriate restraints

Booster, forward-facing, rear-facing, and infant restraints stocked. Mobility specs captured at booking.

  • Caregiver seating

A caregiver always rides with the patient. Two-caregiver seating available on request.

  • Quiet rides

Vehicles run quiet by default — radio off, no shop talk during transport.

  • Distractions on hand

Small books / activity packets stocked. Crews don't push them, but they're there.

  • Family-led pace

Crews follow the family's lead — they know whether the patient wants conversation or quiet.

  • Trained + checked

Pediatric tier requires extra background-check depth + annual pediatric-handling recerts.

Best for
  • Children's hospital appointments + discharges
  • Standing pediatric therapy or specialty visits
  • Inter-facility transfers within pediatric units
  • Wheelchair-using pediatric patients (cross-tier with wheelchair)
Not the right fit for
  • Acute / emergency pediatric transport — call 911 or pediatric EMS
  • Patients requiring continuous monitoring beyond CPR-trained attendant scope
